ADELANTO — Adelanto city officials on Wednesday night mulled the cost of placing a measure on a special or general election ballot in the coming year, signaling a potential revival of the utility-user tax that voters turned down in November.
Residents could again be asked to approve the tax on all utilities at a rate at or below the 7.95 percent that the city previously asked for. Approximately 63 percent of the electorate voted against the measure in the statewide general election last fall.
