The second reading of the amended medical cannabis ordinance will take place during the Adelanto City Council meeting on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. It is on the consent calendar.
The council hopes this amendment will clear up current hurdles in getting the medical cannabis cultivation facilities up and running. The process has been ongoing for over the year. The current amendments had to be made in order to bring the city in compliance with new state law.
