High Desert Mother Files For Restraining Order Against 11-Year-Old Son’s Classmate

The alleged incident occurred earlier this month at the school.
“If I hear another student say they’re threatening another student, bringing a gun to ‘shoot and kill.’ Not to show. To ‘shoot and kill.’ I’m worried.
“You hear about all these other things that are happening around the world, threatening, bullying, these shootings, massacres. I don’t want that to happen,” she said.
A judge will likely decide on whether to grant the order June 9.
The district said there was little they could say about the case due to privacy laws, but opted to read the following statement on camera:
“The Adelanto Elementary School District fully investigated this matter internally and law enforcement did their own investigation. Appropriate action was taken,” said Peter Livingston, a school district spokesman.
The district would not disclose the actions taken, but Tuitele said the female student was no longer in class.
Tuitele said her son will switch schools next year.
