Updated May 27, 2015 at 1:51 PMADELANTO — An Adelanto man was behind bars Wednesday and is expected to answer to a robbery charge in a Victorville courtroom Thursday.
San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies from the Adelanto station arrested Erik Allen Edmonds Tuesday night after responding to a call of a disturbance in the 14300 block of Princeton Court at approximately 6:20 p.m., sheriff's officials said.
The responding deputy began the investigation and learned that Edmonds, 21, was involved in an argument and demanded property from the victim.
Authorities allege Edmonds took the property "by force." The victim suffered minor injuries during the altercation.
Edmonds was located nearby and arrested on suspicion of robbery and is currently being held at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto in lieu of $100,000 bail, booking records show.
