Adelanto jail plans a hard sell
Adelanto Elementary School District President Elaine Gonzales, speaking personally, said she felt there were enough prisons in Adelanto and echoed Victorville’s call for wider-reaching discussions.
“I’m aware that there are some fiscal issues in the city of Adelanto and they’re trying to do what they feel is necessary to reduce that hardship,” Gonzales said, but she said that a larger conversation “should be taken to the community as a whole, because they’re raising families in the community and should have some kind of vote.”- See more at: http://www.hesperiastar.com/article/20141211/NEWS/141219963/10082/NEWS#sthash.FYXz6WMb.dpuf
